This year sees the 25th anniversary of the annual Scottish Traditional Boat Festival with an enlarged number of maritime activities this year, including two days of Coracle events, with a regatta on both days, and plenty of opportunity for the public to try their hand at paddling these ancient craft around the Old Harbour area as in previous years.
As usual, the Coracle Society is being supported by members Dave Purvis, Mike Gough and Charlie Quinnell and our friends from the Insh Coracle Club from Grampian region.
A forty page programme of events is being planned, and caters for all ages and interests. Now regarded as a major event by Visit Scotland, and well worth coming to see us-you are more than welcome!
