Clothing

Members are able to purchase quality, branded apparel at very reasonable prices, to wear and show your support at events.

Event insurance and support documents

The Society has in place Public Liability Insurance through our partner, The Inland Waterways Association. Members are permitted - and encouraged - to make use of this insurance policy for any coracle-related event they are planning or participating in, as long as they are representing the Society.

Also available is a generic risk assessment and safeguarding policy document for you to edit and use for your events should you need these, along with some information about Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS, formerly Criminal Records Bureau or CRB) checks

Journals

Members have access to the back catalogue of all Journals published since the Society's formation in 1990, available to view, download or print. Perfect for those researching coracles, members who have lost copies of Journals and members who have joined recently and wish to find out more about the Society's history.

Publicity

The Society has banners available for members to borrow free of charge, to promote their event and help raise awareness of the Society and its activities. For more information please click the Publicity materials link in the menu (requires log in to access)

We have recently produced a flyer about the Society and the work we and our members do, for members to print and distribute at their events. For more information and to download the flyer please click the Publicity materials link in the menu (requires log in to access)

Members are allowed to post messages on our noticeboard, have their details listed in our coraclemaker directory and where they run courses, have these listed on our website and in our newsletters. Once logged in, members can:

  • Post news items, such as reviews of recent events, and noticeboard items, such as coracles for sale, directly on our website or in our newsletters
  • Post details of upcoming events directly on our website
