16 April 2016

A decision has been made by the Carmarthen Coracle and Netsmen's Association to postpone their record attempt for the largest coracle gathering on a river, which was due to take place on 2nd July 2016 as part of the Carmarthen River Festival. The reason is because of the coracle regatta being held at Welshpool the same day and it would be unfair for the two events to compete with each other.

The record attempt will now take place in 2017, although the Carmarthen River Festival will still take place on 2nd July.

Details of both the Carmarthen River Festival and the Welshpool Regatta are available on our Events page
