A windy day greeted us on the Aire and Calder Navigation at Spicers Auctioneers, The Old Waterways Museum, Goole. Entry to the waterway was via canal side and suspended tyres for steps. We had a lovely morning, met and chatted with folks; Mike did a great job describing the construction process.

Unfortunately due to the weather we were limited to paddling in sheltered areas close to moored barges. It's always a difficult canal for us due to the width and susceptibility to strong wind plus passing traffic. But a fab day was had by us all and we are back there 25th June.
