Going on the fact that the word coracle is a blanket word, for a very small boat, crudely built, lightweight, using what is at hand, to take one/two people across a river, stream or marshland, for fishing or transportation, I decided I'd better share with you what I made for a bet in the 70's.
I was at a show by a river when I was approached by a chap who made a bet with me for a bottle of wine, that I could not make a boat from a scrap in a pile and take it across the river and back.

P.s. I have just finished 2 replica coracles, one a Conway and the other other an Ironbridge both with Paddles.
